Armadillo Encounter at Fife Zoo
Our armadillo encounter gives you the chance to meet some of the cheekiest and most characterful animals at Fife Zoo, our six-banded armadillos!
These fascinating little mammals are full of personality, and this special experience is a brilliant opportunity to get closer to them, learn more about their natural behaviours, and see what makes them such a firm favourite with visitors and keepers alike.
During your encounter, you’ll go behind the scenes at our armadillo habitat with one of our knowledgeable team members. You’ll have the chance to feed the armadillos, watch them explore up close, and find out more about how we care for them here at Fife Zoo.
