What You Need to Know

Time: 10am to 4pm

Days: Fridays and Saturdays

When: May to September 2026

Equipment

Participants need to bring their own camera, ideally an SLR. The minimum requirement is a phone camera with pro settings, including ISO, aperture and shutter speed controls.

Food and Drink

Lunch is available to purchase from Africafé at Fife Zoo, or you are welcome to bring your own food and drink with you.

Age

 

Classes are suitable for anyone aged 16 and over.

Group Size

 

Sessions are limited to 10 people maximum to make sure everyone has enough time, support and space throughout the day.

 

Weather

 

Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear suitable footwear. The course includes both indoor and outdoor enclosures and will go ahead whatever the weather, so a jacket is recommended.
