Zebra Encounter at Fife Zoo
Get closer to one of Africa's most endangered animals with an unforgettable Grevy's zebra encounter!
Ever wondered what it's like to feed a zebra? Now's your chance!
Join one of our knowledgeable keepers for a special 30-minute encounter with our magnificent Grevy's zebras, the very first animals to arrive at Fife Zoo!
You'll head behind the scenes at our zebra house, discover where our zebras spend their time away from the public and have the opportunity to help feed these incredible animals.
You'll also learn what makes Grevy's zebras so special, from their distinctive narrow stripes and impressive ears to the challenges they face in the wild.
Unlike our smaller animal encounters, our zebra encounter takes place through protected contact. This means you'll enjoy an up-close feeding opportunity from behind a protective barrier, keeping both you and our zebras safe and comfortable.
And there's another reason to feel good about your visit! 10% of the profit from your encounter is donated to the Grevy's Zebra Trust, supporting vital conservation work in Kenya to protect these endangered animals.
Whether you're an animal enthusiast, looking for an unusual gift or hoping to create some unforgettable memories, this is a fantastic opportunity to get closer to these beautiful animals.
